By downloading, installing, or using FlipScan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FlipScan is an AI-powered mobile application that helps users identify and price Pokemon trading cards. The App uses image recognition technology to analyze card photos and provide estimated market values.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate card identification and pricing information, FlipScan:

  • Does not guarantee 100% accuracy of card identification
  • Provides estimated prices for informational purposes only
  • Is not responsible for buying/selling decisions made based on our estimates
  • Does not guarantee prices reflect actual market transactions

4. User Responsibilities

By using FlipScan, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
  • Not use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Provide accurate information when contacting support

5. Intellectual Property

FlipScan and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FlipScan, Inc. Pokemon and related trademarks are owned by The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, and their affiliates. FlipScan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokemon Company or Nintendo.

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features of FlipScan may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees through the Apple App Store
  • Auto-renewal terms as specified during purchase
  • Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases

Refunds are handled through Apple according to their refund policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

FlipScan, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
